Get Ready to Get Spooky at City Park

Witches and wizards will soon swoop into New Orleans City Park.

City Park Conservancy’s Halloween fundraisers are back at Carousel Gardens Amusement Park and a magical time is predicted for all who partake.

“We’ve got some special stuff up our sleeves this season,” said City Park Conservancy Director of Attractions & Visitor Services Megan Bourgault.” We take great joy, and pride, in hosting these Halloween events in the Amusement Park, and each year we try to step up our ghostly game. We feel confident this year’s tricks, and treats, will put a spell on guests.”

Ghosts in the Oaks (October 17-20) is family friendly and features four nights of arts & crafts, hot-dog roasting, pumpkin patch, and trick-or-treating throughout Storyland. Early Admission tickets are available for $30, General Admission for $25 and Friends of City Park Members receive the discounted rate of $22.

Brews and Boos (October 25 + 26) boasts adults-only access to the Amusement Park and unlimited beer for guys and ghouls 21+. VIP tickets are available for $60, General Admission for $35 and Friends of City Park Members receive the discounted rate of $32.

Admission to each event includes Amusement Park rides and special themed giveaways.

Since 2008, Ghosts in the Oaks has supported critical preservation, beautification, and capital-improvement projects at the Park. In 2016, Brews and Boos came on board contributing to the cultural and recreational amenities across the greenspace’s 1,300 acres. Proceeds from both events benefit the continued care and preservation of City Park.

Tickets for both events are on sale now and limited – all tickets will be sold online and in advance. For more information, and to purchase tickets, click here.
