Grow Dat - New Orleans City Park

Grow Dat

Located on a seven-acre site on the North side of City Park, Grow Dat Youth Farm, operates a two-acre sustainable farm. Each year, they grow and harvest an average of 32,000 pounds of fresh produce. At Grow Dat, people from different backgrounds come together to create a more just and sustainable food system. On the farm individuals work collaboratively to grow food, educate, and inspire youth and adults, and build power to create personal, social, and environmental change.

Grow Dat offers leadership programs, volunteer opportunities, and field trips. The Grow Dat Youth Farm is its own 501c3 non-profit managed and operated independent of City Park Conservancy.
