City Park Conservancy (CPC) is celebrating its Friends next month.
Friends’ Fest, CPC’s membership-appreciation event, returns to Carousel Gardens Amusement Park and Storyland on Wednesday, June 11. Friends with an active membership will enjoy a fun-filled night of Amusement Park rides and refreshments from Coca-Cola, Elmer’s CheeWees, Haydel’s Bakery, Raising Cane’s and more from 6-9pm.
“This is the perfect time to show our Friends some love as we get set for summer,” said CPC Membership Manager Kristen Brooks. “Not only do our members support the care of 1,300 acres of treasured greenspace, they get to discover the Park in new and exciting ways using their member perks throughout the year.”
Friends’ Fest was created in 2009 to celebrate the generosity of City Park’s members. This annual event has grown into one of the most anticipated evenings of the year for this invaluable group of Park visitors.
The event is free for Friends of City Park members, but reservations are required to attend Friends’ Fest. To register, Friends must have proof of active membership – the number of guests allotted is outlined by membership level. To renew your membership, or register for Friends’ Fest, click here.
This event is made possible with support from Hahn Enterprises, Inc.
“The members here at City Park bring such a vibrant community spirit all year long. Hahn Enterprises is thrilled to support this celebration which is uniquely theirs,” said Tania Hahn, owner and incoming CPC board chair.
Friends of City Park is CPC’s principal membership program that seeks to connect Park-loving individuals and community minded organizations. Friends support critical preservation, capital-improvement and beautification projects – like the cosmos currently on display on Palm Drive and Roosevelt Mall – of CPC, plus enjoy plentiful perks within the Park.
