Friends’ Fest Celebrates the Best in September

City Park Conservancy is throwing a party, and all its Friends are invited.

Friends’ Fest, the Conservancy’s Membership-appreciation event, returns to Carousel Gardens Amusement Park and Storyland on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. Friends with active Membership will enjoy free access to Amusement Park rides, refreshments, and much more from 6-9pm.

“The Friends of City Park Membership program already offers incredible benefits, but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate our supporters even more,” said City Park Conservancy Membership Manager Kristen Brooks. “This is a night for the Park’s most-avid fans to come together and enjoy some festive fun – for free!”

Friends’ Fest began in 2009 as a token of appreciation for those who give so kindly to the Park throughout the year. The annual event has grown into one of the most-anticipated evenings of the season for Friends and their families.

Though the event is free, reservations are required to attend Friends’ Fest. To register, Friends must have active proof of Membership – the number of guests allotted is outlined by their Membership level. To renew your Membership, or register for Friends’ Fest, visit NewOrleansCityPark.org.

This event is made possible with support from Hahn Enterprises, Inc.

“City Park is the lifeline of the city, and it creates a wonderful meeting place for sports, recreation, and leisure,” said City Park Conservancy Board Member and Membership Chair Tania Hahn. “By becoming a Friend, you’re not only supporting the Park, but you’re getting amazing Park perks.”

Friends of City Park is the Conservancy’s principal Membership program that seeks to connect Park-loving individuals and community minded organizations. Friends support critical preservation, beautification, and capital-improvement projects of City Park Conservancy, plus enjoy plentiful perks within the Park.
