What’s better than one holiday party? Two holiday parties.
City Park Conservancy’s (CPC) Celebration in the Oaks Preview Party and Jingle Bells & Beer have been combined into one extra-festive event held on Saturday, November 23. The annual 21+ fundraiser in Carousel Gardens Amusement Park – featuring entertainment, rides, and all-you-can imbibe brew – once again extends into the New Orleans Botanical Garden for an elegant experience with delectable dishes, drinks, and a Walking Tour preview.
“This party truly is the best of both worlds,” said CPC Director of Development Antonia Keller. “Whether you want to celebrate the season sipping with sophistication or hooting and hollering for the holidays, we’ve got you covered. And, what’s more, you can do both!”
Jingle Bells & Beer tickets include unlimited beer, Amusement Park rides – including the iconic City Park Train – and snacks within the confines of Carousel Gardens. Purchase for the Garden Party portion and you’ll be afforded access to the Botanical Garden featuring a full bar, specialty cocktails, and food prepared by beloved local establishments.
Preview Party attendees will also have the opportunity to enter CPC’s Bryan Subaru Raffle. For $75, up to 1,000 participants will be entered to win a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Premium valued at $31,572. Winner will be drawn live on FOX8 on December 6.
Proceeds from all events and initiatives go toward preserving and protecting New Orleans City Park’s 1,300-acre greenspace.
CPC’s annual operating budget is largely reliant on self-generated activities, often weather-dependent, and Celebration in the Oaks plays a key role in funding the Park’s continued maintenance and beauty each year. The public’s investment and attendance at Celebration in the Oaks supports City Park’s success going forward.
