TICKETING
When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets will be available on August 1.
How do I buy tickets?
Purchase tickets directly here when on sale.
Can I buy tickets at the gate on the night of the event?
No, advance tickets are required and can be purchased online. A limited number of tickets are available each night and traditionally sell out weeks in advance
Can I buy tickets anywhere but online?
To help us manage capacity, all tickets must be purchased in advance here.
Does my child need a ticket?
Yes, all children 3 and older need a ticket to attend Ghosts in the Oaks. Children 2 and under are admitted free of charge.
Can I upgrade my General Admission tickets to Early Admission tickets?
Yes, please reach out to [email protected] with your order number and your request to upgrade to Early Admission. WRSTBND will ask for your payment details and process your new ticket. Once the new, upgraded Early Admission purchase is complete, WRSTBND will then refund your initial purchase of the General Admission tickets.
I am no longer available to attend Ghosts in the Oaks. Can I receive a refund?
Ghost in the Oaks is a rain-or-shine event. There are no refunds or exchanges for this fundraiser. All ticket sales for this event are final and non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, you’re welcome to forward your ticket to a friend or family member.
I had trouble using the ticketing website. What should I do?

Do Friends of City Park Members receive special pricing?
Yes, members receive $3 off General Admission tickets.
How do I receive the Friends of City Park discount?
Using the primary email address tied to your membership, purchase Friends of City Park Member tickets. Your email address will be validated after purchase.
Can members receive $3 off Early Admission tickets?
No, the member discount is only valid on General Admission tickets.
How many discounted member tickets can I purchase?
Each active Friends of City Park Member can purchase up to nine discounted tickets for Ghosts in the Oaks.
How do I know if my FOCP Membership is still active?
Contact the membership team at 504-483-9380 or [email protected] to ask if your Friends of City Park Membership is still active.
GHOSTS IN THE OAKS QUESTIONS
What can I expect at Ghosts in the Oaks?
Ghosts in the Oaks is a family friendly Halloween event featuring unlimited Amusement Park rides, trick-or-treating, festive activities and live entertainment. This year, there is a new, expanded trick-or-treat path.
Do kids have to wear costumes?
No, but children are encouraged to wear costumes to enhance the experience.
Will Ghosts in the Oaks be scary?
No. While there will be some characters in costume, none of them will be frightening.
Will Storyland be open?
Yes, Storyland will be open and available for play during Ghosts in the Oaks.
Will food and drinks be available during the event?
Yes, Parker’s Pizza and Parker’s Café will have food and beverage available for purchase
Will I be able to use cash to make purchases during the event?
No, Parker’s Pizza and Parker’s Café are cashless.
Can I attend a different night?
Your ticket is only valid for the night purchased.
What happens if it rains?
This is a rain-or-shine event. We reserve the right to modify any event features as necessary for the safety of our guests and staff. If we must cancel one or more nights due to inclement weather, please stay tuned for more information. No refunds will be given, and your ticket will be considered a donation to City Park Conservancy.
TRICK-OR-TREATING QUESTIONS
Will there be trick-or-treating at the event?
Yes, each child will receive a trick-or-treat bag and will visit 8+ trick-or-treat stations. The trick-or-treat stations will distribute candy, snacks and other fun goodies.
How many times can we go through the treat route?
You may go through the trick-or-treat route one time, to ensure that each guest has the opportunity to receive treats.
Should children bring their own trick-or-treat bags?
No, each child will receive a reusable trick-or-treat bag at the event.
Do any of the treats contain peanuts?
While we make a conscious effort to include many treats that do not contain peanuts, some of those treats are made in facilities that process peanuts.

How do I get to Ghosts in the Oaks?
Ghost in the Oaks is in Carousel Gardens Amusement Park and Storyland in New Orleans City Park. The address is 7 Victory Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70124.
Where do I park for Ghosts in the Oaks?
All parking in City Park is free. Arrive early to ensure a convenient spot during Ghosts in the Oaks.
Available parking includes:
- Tricentennial parking lot: The Tricentennial parking lot is located near 5 Victory Avenue, near the Goldring/Woldenberg Great Lawn. You can enter this parking lot on Dreyfous Drive or Victory Avenue.
- Additional parking: Parking is available near the entrance to Carousel Gardens and Storyland. You can enter this parking lot on Dreyfous Drive or Anseman Avenue.
- Street parking: There is parallel parking available throughout City Park, though it can fill up quickly during events like Ghosts in the Oaks.
