Spring has sprung at the New Orleans Botanical Garden.
On Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7, the 10-acre greenspace will be flush with sales booths, educational programs, live music, arts & crafts, cooking demonstrations and more for the community to enjoy. The annual event, presented in partnership with the LSU AgCenter, Louisiana Master Gardeners and Metro Area Horticulture Foundation, features over 50 vendors exhibiting common and exotic plants as well as various gardening paraphernalia.
“It’s always a thrill for us to see the Botanical Garden bustling with visitors from all over the region,” said City Park Conservancy President and CEO Cara Lambright. “We are honored to partner with the LSU AgCenter on this important event that serves not just as a plant sale, but a chance for people from all different backgrounds and experience levels to come together and share ideas and expertise.”
LSU AgCenter specialists, Master Gardeners and Botanical Garden personnel will also be on hand to answer all questions. For more information, and to purchase tickets, click here.
