City Park Conservancy (CPC) invites fans to flock to the field.

Since 1982, Lark in the Park has served as City Park’s signature spring fundraiser. This year, CPC is bringing the celebration to Pan American Stadium to honor over 100 years of athletics at City Park where guests will enjoy live music, curated cuisine, craft cocktails, and immersive experiences.

Lark in the Park, scheduled for Friday, March 13, spotlights City Park’s enduring commitment to health, recreation, and community engagement through its dynamic athletic programs and facilities. Proceeds from the event will support safe, high-quality environments for sports and recreation, expand access to inclusive programming, and foster community pride and youth development. Lauren Lopinto and Lacey Watler serve as this year’s co-chairs for the popular event.

Lark in the Park kicks off with a Patron Hour at 6pm featuring Hufft Marchand Hospitality Group and music by Kristin Diable. At 7pm, the Main Event begins with specialty beverages, New Orleans restaurants and festive entertainment by The Rumble.

General Admission, Friends of City Park Member, and Party Flock tickets – as well as multiple sponsorship opportunities – are available for purchase here.

“Lark in the Park is always an incredible event, and this year we’re stepping up our game,” said CPC President and CEO Rebecca Dietz. “Hosting on the Pan American turf allows us the needed space to connect with the community and properly commemorate City Park as a hub for sports in the Crescent City.”

As part of the 100-year athletics celebration, CPC is inviting former and current athletes, coaches, band members, cheerleaders, and officials to share photos and short stories from their time participating in athletics in City Park. Select submissions will be featured on social media leading up to Lark in the Park and showcased on site during the event as part of a special City Park Athletics Hall of Fame experience. Submissions can be sent here.

Lark in the Park is supported by Hahn Enterprises, Timber and Peggy Floyd, Bryan Subaru, R. Sharkawy & H.S. Pittman Family, Sheriff Joseph and Lauren Lopinto, Gear Services, Inc., Hancock Whitney, Swift Recreation. Event partners include Coca-Cola Bottling United, RNDC, Wheatley Vodka, Corazon Tequila, Element Event Rental, and WWNO.
