City Park Conservancy’s annual free community celebration featuring live local music, activations, food, and fireworks!
Join us on the Goldring/Woldenberg Great Lawn for Happy 3rd of July: A Community Celebration presented by Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company – one of New Orleans’ favorite summer traditions.
In honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence, this year’s celebration expands to include local performances, community partners, and local food vendors, while continuing the traditions guests have come to love, from the Marine Forces Reserve Rock Band and fireworks over the Peristyle at 9pm.
More than a holiday celebration, Happy 3rd of July reflects City Park’s role as the Heart of the City – a place where New Orleanians of all ages and backgrounds can gather to connect and celebrate.
Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, family and friends for an evening celebrating community and summer in New Orleans. Beer, seltzers, snowballs, soft drinks, water, and wine will be available for purchase, along with food from Chick-fil-A, Dat Dog, French Truck Coffee, Hubig’s Pies, and La Cocinita.
