Popp Fountain
Popp Fountain is a showstopper well-suited for special events. The magnificent, 60-foot-wide fountain was built in 1937 and recently underwent a significant restoration, rendering the fountain area and adjacent brick patio into an ideal setting for wedding ceremonies and cocktail parties. The fountain features underwater lighting and a dramatic 30-foot spray of water from a cast bronze sculpture of leaping dolphins designed by artist Enrique Alferez. Wide upper and lower promenades encircle the fountain, which is bordered by a colonnade of 26 Corinthian columns draped in wisteria and surrounded 12 acres of grounds landscaped with native trees, shrubs, and flora.
The space includes room for 300 seated in addition to 12 fenced, outdoor acres.
