In addition to Malcolm’s tremendous public relations work for the Park, most recently the passing of the 2019 millage, Malcolm meticulously pruned and cared for the ‘City Park’ hedges across from his home on City Park Avenue, for nearly twenty years. Due to his unparalleled volunteerism, he was named an honorary member of City Park’s grounds staff in recognition of the years he spent tending the swath of greenery.
In loving memory, a fund was created – The Malcolm Hedge Fund – to continue the ongoing care and maintenance of the City Park hedges. In addition, an installation of a bench and a plaque will help create a serene and reflective place for his loved ones and our community. All donations are tax deductible.
